If you notice any of these, call us during clinic hours. After we close, our line names the nearest 24-hour emergency hospital.

- Repeated vomiting or diarrhea past 12 hours
- A hard, swollen, or bloated belly
- Straining or unable to urinate (cats especially)
- Seizures, collapse, or sudden weakness
- A wound, limp, or eye injury that will not settle
- A known toxin eaten: chocolate, grapes, lilies, or medication
